Let's find out whether this is a fit.
The fastest way to start is an email describing what you have now and what people keep asking you for.
How engagements start
- A first conversationThirty minutes. What the business does, what the books currently produce, and where the gap shows up — the report that's late, the question that can't be answered, the year-end that hurts.
- A look at the actual recordsI review your current reporting and system setup. This is where the real scope becomes clear, and occasionally where I tell you that you don't need me yet.
- A written scopeWhat I'll handle, what stays with your team, the cadence, and the deliverables. Plain language, no retainer language you need a lawyer to parse.
- OnboardingAccess to your systems, a close calendar, and a first month with a defined finish line so you can judge the work before committing further.

A few honest notes
I'm not the cheapest option, and I'm not trying to be. The comparison that matters is against a full-time controller or CFO salary, not against a bookkeeper.
This works best as an ongoing relationship. I can do a defined project, and sometimes that's exactly right. But most of the value compounds — the second year is better than the first because the foundation is already there.
Sometimes the answer is no. If your volume genuinely doesn't warrant this level of support, I'll say so in the first conversation rather than three months into an engagement.
